Yeo Ken How, a student from Bedok South Secondary, died when the car he drove crashed into a tree.
He did not have a valid driving license and is obviously underage. In Singapore, you have to be at least 18 years old to apply for a driving license.

Apparently, this was not his first time sneaking. On the first day of the one-week school break, he stole his brother’s blue Suzuki Swift for a drive. Unlike the other times, he was alone this time round. It was unfortunately his last joyride. At around 1.30pm, he lost control of the car and slammed into a tree along Bedok South Road, just 2km away from Ken How’s home at Bedok North. The impact was so hard that it killed him instantly. His body had to be extricated as the driver’s side was totally crushed.
