A Cold & Wet Christmas Eve…
6 more days…
It was raining most of the time yesterday… Jaz tried to wake me up in the afternoon to go to his office’s Christmas party but I just couldn’t wake up. Had a very late night yesterday. I slept at around 6am. So finally I met up with him in the evening. Sent him to work and while waiing, I headed to Mcdonalds to update my blog. Unfortunately I had some problems with the internet connection and couldn’t do anything much.He said it was for awhile so I didn’t bother going out of the car. Bad move… he finished more than 2 hours later and I’m stuck in the car cos it was raining very heavily. I was fine though as I had the time to listen to the new cds which I had bought 2 days ago. 3 cds in total.. Paramore Final Riot Live cd/dvd, Twilight soundtrack & Take That’s Circus album (to make up to them..will tell you why soon..;P). Anyway, we headed back to his office as he had to do a lil’ more work and I wanted to taste the log cake anyway.. Believe it or not, I have never ever eaten a log cake before! LOL! So anyway, kinda disappointed that it was a mango log cake. Not a big fan of fruit cakes! Only chocolates and creams for me.. Well, anyway here’s some pics of the log cake from Prima Deli..

Well, ok… I seriously expected a nicer log cake..lol! I had earlier imagined it to be brown and chocolate. Anyway, I have to admit that the cake’s not bad.. cos I ate big part of it.. 3 rounds altogether..
But I really hope I’ll get a chocolate one next time. He told me that the one they ate at the party was all cream and chocolate I think. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my first ever log cake and for getting the first bite of it..lol! Then it struck me again.. Have been thinking about it for some time but I have yet to get an appropriate answer from anybody. Can somebody please tell me what has a log cake got anything to do with Christmas??? Why must there be a log cake and not normal cakes? Why is it a log? What does it symbolise?
So yeah, that was it… Spent Christmas eve indoors, eating a mango log cake cos it was raining outside.. Oh did I mention that I love their Christmas tree? Very nicely decorated..
No more presents below the tree cos the gifts were exchanged during the party earlier.. Jaz got an orange Adidas tee from Australia from his boss’ wife and he told me that his colleague love the plush polar bear & earrings that we had bought together for her.. And all his female collegues love the earrings.. Time for him to promote me to his colleagues already! Hehe..

Ok now, I’ll leave you guys here for now and before I go, I would like to wish all Christians a very Merry Christmas! Have a great one!

I also prefer chocolate rather than mango. Hehe!
Btw, the log cake actually has nothing to do with Christianity. For more details, you can read here : )

Wow! Want that mango cake! Anyway, the spiral things on the snow cake look like black holes chasing the snowman and Santa! LOL
