iReview – Twilight Movie

18 more days to go…. Don’t worry… I won’t be revealing much about the story…  My friends & I were deciding on which movie to watch last Saturday. We ended up watching Twilight as it was the only earliest with best seats to watch. Well, we sat on the 3rd row from the front anyway. I didn’t know anything much about the movie except that it’s about vampires and teens. I hadn’t even watched the trailer before. Hmm… vampires… Seriously, I was expecting a lot of action with a bit of a love story. Like The Covenant… hot guys with super powers. Love that movie! Difference is that he is a vampire. So, I was kinda shocked when the whole story was 80% love story.. Haha! Jaz and I exchanged looks so many times in the movie. LOL! An even sweet surprise was to see 2 of the OC casts acting in there too.. They are Cam Gigandet as James and Nikki Reed as Rosali Hale. It’s not that I don’t like the show… It’s just that it threw me off abit as I wasn’t expecting a love story. In fact I love it enough to buy the dvd to add to my collection. |
Apparently, there are a lot of slow parts especially when they talked… Besides that, everything else was good. Totally love the soundtrack! Love the sets… the place is gorgeous. How I wished I was there to snap some pictures if it’s real anyway… After watching the show, I googled on the actors cos I found some of them to be so familiar… And true enough, I was quite shocked to know the results. The lead actress, Kristen Stewart, acted before as the young daughter of Jodie Foster in Panic Room. The lead actor, Robert Pattinson, acted as Cedric in Harry Potter, Peter Facinelli acted as Mike Dexter in Can’t Hardly Wait.. (WTH! This one is a real shocker….LOL! And I thought he looked like Austin Scarlett from Project Runway 1). He also acted as Takmet in Scorpion King..
Initially I heard that a lot of Twilight fans disagree and objected to Pattinson taking the role of Edward Cullen. Then suddenly, everybody started to like him and say things like he’s hot… Contradicting isn’t it?
So anyway, a second movie is in the making… It’s called New Moon, to be released in 2010. Can’t wait for this one..

ah` am not a twilight fan either, and ah` haven’t read da books
yet nor watch da movie trailer,
but dat be really into wo`ld now=D everybody be likes
rapin about twilight =D dat was kinda interestin` really,
ah` did enjoyed da movie too, da effects are fantastic:D

Ohh, I cannot stand horror movie, I always freak out watching it.
But I think the twilight movie had a good review here in US.
The last time I watched a vampire movie was the Tom Cruise
I think? waah, i feel like old already talking about Tom Cruise

Oooh… I love watching that old vampire movie starring Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt.
It’s called Interview With The Vampire.. It’s also starring young Kirsten Dunst.
Twilight is not a horror movie… It’s basically a love story IMO with a bit of thriller/action in some parts.
You should try to catch the movie.. =)
